We sailed full speed into the Beagle Channel, aware that ahead of us was the Drake Passage.

“The Drake” is where the Atlantic and Pacific oceans meet. Sailors consider it to be the most treacherous water on earth.

We got lucky and had a calm trip through the “Drake Lake”.
